The Leadership Council is an opportunity for motivated student fencers in grades 10-12 to join Youth Fencing Chicago. Through in-person service projects, you will gain leadership skills and then put those skills into practice by engaging the community through fencing based initiatives. The Leadership Council also raises awareness about the need for and the impact of the work of Youth Fencing Chicago.

About the Leadership Council

The Leadership Council members will:

• Learn and advocate about Social, Behavioral, and Economical Insecurities
• Share and participate in all initiatives at Youth Fencing Chicago
• Network with peers, and coordinate fundraisers and/or collection drives
• Develop confidence and leadership skills
• Develop agency and future commitment to community service and social responsibility
• Earn service hours

Whether you help out at our Fence-A-Thon, Gear Up for Summer Drive, create your own “Giving Back” project, or participate in other ways, you’ll become part of the spirit and energy that enables us to serve so many.
